Neurodiversity-Affirming Support
For Australian families, carers, health care professionals, educators, and professionals.
We're A Registered NDIS Provider
Supporting you with knowledge, empathy, and real-world solutions.

Support that sees the whole person - not just the diagnosis, behaviour, or NDIS plan.
Perfectly Imperfect is a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed allied health and disability support practice supporting neurodivergent people, families, carers, couples, and communities across Australia.
We exist because too many people have been misunderstood, pathologised, excluded, or pushed through systems that were never built with them in mind.
We do things differently.
We lead with lived experience, clinical knowledge, nervous-system safety, dignity, and real-world support that actually fits real life.
How does Perfectly Imperfect Support Neurodivergent Australians?
Perfectly Imperfect provides neurodiversity-affirming support for neurodivergent Australians across the lifespan, including Autistic children and Autistic adults, individuals with ADHD and PDA profiles, and people living with psychosocial disability linked to mental health, trauma or chronic stress.
Our integrated services address co-occurring neurodivergence and mental health conditions through personalised counselling, behaviour support and disability advocacy, delivering cohesive, person-centred care tailored to individual goals, strengths and NDIS support needs.
We base our work on nervous system safety, lived experience, and dignity. We do not focus on compliance, control, or suppressing behaviour.

What makes Perfectly Imperfect’s Approach Different?
At Perfectly Imperfect, we do not treat distress as something to be suppressed or “fixed.” Instead, our neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed approach understands distress as meaningful information about a person’s nervous system, environment and support needs. This perspective shapes how we provide counselling, behaviour support and NDIS services across all ages and stages of growth.
We Believe That
- Behaviour is communication
- Mental health challenges are often disability-related, not personal failure
- Trauma and chronic stress shape the nervous system
- Safety and regulation must come before skill-building or behaviour change
